Hi, I'm Dana!
I help moms create calm, nurturing spaces that support their children’s regulation - and their own - through holistic interior design.

TAKE A DEEP BREATH...
WE'RE GOING TO NOURISH YOUR HOME TOGETHER.

From Chaos to Calm
The Journey That Changed Everything

I became a holistic interior designer because I know firsthand how much a home can impact a child’s ability to regulate, and a parent’s ability to breathe. As a mom navigating sensory overload, behavioral challenges, PANS, and a constantly dysregulated nervous system, I was living what so many families face every day.

Our home, like so many, looked “fine” on the outside… but on the inside, it was contributing to the overwhelm. The lighting, the layout, the noise, the clutter—it all added up. No matter how many parenting strategies we tried, nothing stuck because the environment was working against us.

So I stopped chasing surface-level solutions and started exploring something deeper: how our home could help regulate instead of dysregulate.

Why Holistic Design?
Because parenting a complex kid is hard enough, your home shouldn’t be making it harder.

At Nourished Nest, I combine practical design principles with nervous system science to help families transform their everyday spaces into places of calm, clarity, and connection. This isn’t about perfection. It’s about creating a home that feels good to live in, for both your child and you.
What Makes This Different
I’m not just here to make things pretty. I’m here to make them peaceful.

With my signature N.E.S.T.® Method, I guide overwhelmed moms like you through:
-
Nourishment – Clearing environmental triggers and supporting sensory needs
-
Essentials – Honoring your family’s unique energy, routines, and values
-
Safety – Designing spaces that feel secure, predictable, and emotionally grounding
-
Tranquility – Curating restful zones for restoration—for kids and caregivers
This Work Is Deeply Personal
I’ve lived this. I get it. And I’ve seen what happens when the home becomes a healing partner, not another thing to manage.

Today, our family’s home supports better sleep, fewer meltdowns, smoother transitions, and more moments of connection. Now, I help other families get there too, without the overwhelm, without judgment, and without sacrificing beauty.
Let's Make Space for What Matters
If you're tired of trying to fix everything with parenting strategies alone, and you're ready to let your home do some of the heavy lifting, it’s time.

I’d be honored to support you.
